August 1st!!

Already.

That means 40 days until this baby makes its debut.

28 days until School Starts.

28 days to get "The List" complete!

Lets see what we have done:

~Taken swim lessons~

(My way of going to the pool and not having to swim....bad I know...I am just not feeling brave enough to wear my very small bikini outside of my yard...I think it just seems very small....I actually have not put it on for a few weeks....it may not even fit!!

I may just have to do it. Perhaps a tank top.)

~Gone to the spray park~

~Taken a day trip to the DINOSAUR museum~

~Played with friends~

~Watched a movie in our yard with some friends that came to visit with their huge outdoor movie screen!~

(I figure this was our "Drive In Movie experience....since there is rairly kid appropriate movies.)

~We have had a bonfire and cooked Marshmallows~

(no hot dogs...which I really don't mind...my kids don't really like them they just want to roast them.)

So for August

We will

Go to a u pick

Go to the beach....can u believe we have not gone yet!

Play mini golf and eat ice-cream.

Camp outside in the Yard! That is as far as this mama is going this year. With a bonfire and a marshmallow roast and maybe even hotdogs.

Get some haircuts.

And enjoy the rest of summer!!

I was thinking that the tie die party may be a reward/labour project for when I get the "other things" done....you know the ones that I have not mentioned...painting, homework, cleaning.

Oh and did I mention that I ordered my dills....from the Hutterite Colony down the road......100 lbs of them. For making Pickles!!!

I was feeling Brave!!

Then she told me that they would be late this year! "I will call you in the 3rd or 4th week of August she says to me in her english/german accent.

hmmmmm!

Maybe this will be my Labour project???
